Job Description Storage Infrastructure Engineer – SC Clearedn 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 n Hybrid | 50% onsite n Active SC Clearance Required n We’re supporting a major UK organisation seeking an experienced Storage Infrastructure Engineer to join their infrastructure team on an initial 6-month contract. n This is a hands-on role focused on supporting and developing enterprise storage services that underpin critical business systems. You’ll work across operational support, storage migrations, infrastructure delivery, automation, and continual service improvement within a highly regulated enterprise environment. Key Responsibilitiesn n n n Support and maintain enterprise storage platforms and associated infrastructure. n Deliver storage migration and data movement activities. n Investigate and resolve storage, capacity, performance, and availability issues. n Contribute to infrastructure projects, upgrades, and platform improvements. n Develop automation and operational efficiencies through Scripting and tooling. n Produce technical documentation and support operational best practices. n Participate in a 24×7 on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours change activity. n n nEssential Experiencen n n n Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise storage environments. n Experience with Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon . n Experience with Pure Storage platforms. n Experience administering Cisco MDS SAN environments. n Storage migration and enterprise data movement experience. n PowerShell, REST API, or similar automation/Scripting experience. n Experience working within structured ITIL-based environments covering incident, problem, and change management. n Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder communication skills. n Must have an active SC Clearance n n nDesirable Experiencen n n n Experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms such as Commvault or Cohesity . n Exposure to Dell EMC RecoverPoint , VNX , or similar enterprise storage technologies. n Experience with S3-compatible object storage environments. n Knowledge of hyperconverged infrastructure platforms such as Dell VxRail . n Experience identifying and implementing operational improvements. n Experience mentoring colleagues and producing technical documentation. n n To apply for this position please submit your CV. n Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG – The Vertage Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
