Technical Account Manager, Enterprise Services – Financial Solutions

Overview

In this role you act as the primary technical liaison for Bloomberg’s largest clients, guiding technology and data sourcing decisions. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to align Bloomberg solutions with client strategy and drive product adoption. You’ll lead strategic engagements, co-design solutions, and influence both client and internal roadmaps while enabling successful delivery across regions. This is a hands-on, consultative role that blends pre-sales, account management, and technical leadership to create lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account team to qualify sales opportunities technically
• Map client strategy to Bloomberg solutions and advise on architecture
• Design and analyze requirements for implementing new products
• Form and execute comprehensive integration plans across regions
• Lead engagements leveraging internal resources for successful delivery
• Develop account plans with clear goals and maintain strategic client relationships
• Provide technical SME across the Enterprise Data Technology portfolio
• Ensure cohesive service delivery including steering committees and service reviews
• Build senior client relationships across IT and business teams
• Develop deep understanding of client architecture, infrastructure and applications environment

Key requirements

• Client-facing experience in financial services or fintech
• Knowledge of financial market data products, delivery services, APIs and protocol technologies
• Experience in consultative sales or strategic account management with client engagement leadership
• Pre-sales experience and commercial awareness
• Passion for data delivery, content analysis, and attention to detail
• Proven track record leading technology engagements or bringing technical products to market
• Curiosity with a history of learning and career growth
• Ability to build senior relationships and expand footprint
• Awareness of trading applications and systems
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English
