Overview
In this role you will support SEND improvement across North Yorkshire by delivering strategic priorities and upcoming reforms. You will work with schools, families and partner organisations to turn ideas into action and monitor improvement projects. You will analyse data, build reports and support consultation to shape inclusive education provision. This is a delivery-focused role with a strong cross-functional impact, contributing to better outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will join a collaborative team at County Hall, with travel across the region.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of SEND strategic priorities and upcoming reforms
- Coordinate and monitor action plans and improvement projects
- Collaborate with schools, locality boards and partner organisations to achieve outcomes
- Undertake research, data analysis and project evaluation
- Support consultation, engagement and co-production with stakeholders
- Prepare reports, briefings and presentations for various audiences
- Identify challenges, risks and solutions to enable successful delivery
- Support the development of inclusive education provision across North Yorkshire
Key requirements
- Has a good understanding of SEND, inclusion and educational practice
- Experience in supporting projects, service development or improvement initiatives
- Ability to analyse information and use evidence to inform decisions
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders including schools, families and senior leaders
