Working pattern: Full-time, permanent
We’re expanding our Groundscare team and looking for skilled technicians to work with the John Deere brand alongside other leading manufacturers. As a Groundscare Service Technician you’ll work on modern, high-specification machinery across our depots and out in the field, playing a direct part in the service our customers rely on.
What you’ll be doingDiagnosing and repairing groundscare equipmentServicing John Deere machinery and other brandsDeveloping your skills through ongoing training on new products and servicesCarrying out quality assurance in the workshop and in field settingsMentoring apprentices and traineesPreparing new and used equipment for deliveryWhat you’ll bringStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systemsA commitment to delivering excellent customer serviceThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamSelf-motivation, strong communication skills and a willingness to take on new challengesProficiency in maintaining and repairing machinery using special tools and approved technical proceduresFlexibility to adjust working hours during peak seasons and weekendsA valid UK driving licenceExperience in a franchised dealer environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be providedWhat’s on offerCompetitive pay, reviewed annuallyBonus scheme based on performance and depot successCompany van for work useUnlimited investment in your training — we don’t put a cap on your growthEnhanced holiday and sick payCompany pension, life insurance and employee discountsAdditional information
