You’ll play a key role in supporting the broking team with a range of administrative and operational activities, while developing your technical knowledge of insurance, clients, and the London Market. Around 40% of the role will involve providing Personal Assistant support to the team, including diary management, mailbox organisation, travel arrangements, and supporting the Managing Director where required. You’ll also gain valuable industry experience and play an important part in delivering exceptional client service, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in insurance broking.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the broking team
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel, accommodation, and itineraries
  • Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and client documentation
  • Supporting meeting coordination, preparing materials, and taking notes where required
  • Processing expenses and assisting with general team administration
  • Assisting brokers with policy documentation, market submissions, and client administration
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing ad‑hoc support across the team as business needs require
  • Developing your understanding of insurance products, markets, and broking processes
  • Learning directly from experienced brokers and gradually taking on increased broking responsibilities

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an organised, ambitious, and proactive individual who is keen to learn and develop a career within insurance broking.

You’ll need:

  • An interest in building a career within the insurance industry
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other business systems
  • A strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a willingness to take on new challenges

What you’ll get

When you join SRG, you’re stepping into more than just a role, you’re becoming part of a team that backs your ambitions and celebrates your success. We’ll give you the space, support, and opportunities to grow your skills, explore new challenges, and shape a career you’re proud of.

And because we believe great work should be rewarded, here’s what you can look forward to:

  • 25 days holiday plus an extra half‑day off to celebrate your birthday month
  • Company pension scheme to help secure your future
  • Private medical cover for peace of mind
  • Life insurance, income protection and sick pay to support you when you need it
  • Charity and volunteering days so you can give back to causes you care about
