Overview
As the UK HR Leader and primary HRBP, you will shape people strategy for Faire’s UK organization while driving global HR initiatives. You’ll partner with the Head of International and the UK leadership team to align talent, performance, and organization design with business goals. You will lead employee relations, culture, and change programs, leveraging data to inform decisions. This role offers meaningful impact by strengthening UK people practices in a fast-growing, cross-border tech company.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HRBP for the UK, partnering with leadership to guide organizational health, talent planning, workforce strategy, and manager capability
- Voice UK needs in strategy, processes, and programs to ensure regional context is embedded
- Drive talent management activities including performance cycles, career development, promotions, design, and succession planning
- Lead end-to-end UK employee relations, coaching managers and employees to foster accountability and high performance
- Champion Faire’s culture in the UK with strong communication, engagement, and alignment
- Guide engagement survey action planning and retention initiatives across International
- Provide data-driven insights to influence decisions, identify trends, and address risks or opportunities
- Manage day-to-day UK HR operations with cross-functional teams and address immigration, benefits, leaves, and accommodations
- Lead strategic projects including OKR tracking, retention, org design updates, and manager education materials
- Stay abreast of AI and HR-tech tooling, pilot new tools, and collaborate on global rollouts and roadmap alignment
- Identify opportunities to streamline HRBP workflows and maintain key trackers for usability
- Ensure governance, documentation, and compliance across HR processes
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HRBP experience supporting senior leaders
- UK employment law expertise
- Strong understanding of performance, talent management, employee relations, and organizational design
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate people data into actionable insights
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication across all levels
- Proven track record in driving cross-functional projects
- High empathy balanced with business needs; sound judgment in sensitive matters
- Proven AI fluency and comfort with AI tools in HR
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
- Nice to have: international or multi-region experience; familiarity with high-growth tech or marketplaces
