Senior Cost Manager – Nuclear

Overview

As a Cost Manager, you will guide cost control for power sector projects, supporting clients across distribution, transmission and renewables. You will work within a consultancy team to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and manage contract change, ensuring governance and value delivery. The role involves partnering with client and contractor teams to track progress, KPIs and programme performance. Responsibilities

• Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies
• Providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
• Proactively managing cost variance and contract cash flow
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams to deliver deliverables and KPIs
• Managing contract change to maintain governance and best practice
• Improving forecast and budget accuracy

Key requirements

• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Ideally hold or be working towards appropriate professional body membership or equivalent
• Contract Management (NEC3, Option C or NEC 4 preferred)
