Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship – Exciting Opportunity!

Ocean Housing Group is thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new apprenticeship in Housing and Property Management! If you’re passionate about making a difference in your community and eager to build a rewarding career, this is your chance to shine.

What’s on Offer?

• Full-time role (37 hours/week)
• Hands-on experience with our Customer Experience and Neighbourhoods teams
• Dedicated study time to complete your academic qualification

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, helping manage tenancies, properties, and estates, while delivering outstanding service to our tenants and customers.

Training & Qualification

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Housing & Property Management, delivered online by The Apprentice Academy. Topics include:

• Health & Safety
• Risk Assessments
• Leases & Licences
• Data Protection & Common Law
• History of Social Housing
• Tenancy Agreements
• EPCs, Private Landlords, Listed Buildings & more!

Career Progression

This apprenticeship could be your stepping stone to a permanent role in Housing and Property Management.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Understanding of Health & Safety and Duty of Care
• Basic knowledge of MS Office

Desirable:

• Experience in office environments
• Awareness or lived experience of social housing

Personal Qualities:

• Team player with great communication skills
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
• Confident using IT systems
• Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset

Qualifications:

• Level 2 Key Skills in Literacy & Numeracy (or equivalent)

• Flexibility in working hours may be required
• You’ll need reliable transport to and from the workplace
