Job Description n Senior Threat Analyst | Manchester/Hybrid | £65,000 n Location: Manchester n Salary: Circa £65,000, depending on experience n Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday n Contract: Permanent n Working model: Hybrid, typically one day in the Manchester office every fortnight, with flexibility to attend more frequently if preferred. n We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Threat Analyst to join their Information Security function and take a leading role in their threat intelligence capability. n This is an exciting opportunity for a cyber security professional who can combine hands-on threat intelligence expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills , turning complex intelligence into clear, actionable insights for senior decision-makers. n The Role n As Senior Threat Analyst , you’ll oversee the threat intelligence function, coordinating the identification, analysis and tracking of cyber threats. n You’ll work closely with security, technology and wider business teams to understand the evolving threat landscape and translate intelligence into practical recommendations that strengthen security and organisational resilience. n Key responsibilities will include: n n Overseeing the threat intelligence function and coordinating intelligence from internal and external sources. n Producing tactical, operational and strategic threat intelligence assessments and reports. n Preparing and delivering executive-level threat briefings to senior stakeholders. n Correlating internal telemetry with external intelligence to identify threats, attack patterns and potential vulnerabilities. n Supporting investigations and incident response with intelligence on threat actors, TTPs and IOCs. n Creating engaging phishing awareness content based on current and emerging threats. n Working collaboratively across Information Security and wider business teams to operationalise threat intelligence. n Contributing to security working groups and providing relevant threat context and challenge. n Continuously improving intelligence processes, tools and ways of working. n Providing effective leadership, coaching and development to a small team. n n What We’re Looking For n We’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience in threat intelligence analysis, cyber threat monitoring or a related cybersecurity role , alongside the ability to communicate complex information clearly to different audiences. n You’ll ideally have: n n Experience preparing and delivering executive threat briefings. n Strong experience analysing and correlating intelligence from multiple sources, including threat feeds, reports and OSINT. n Experience producing concise threat summaries, briefings and intelligence reports. n Strong knowledge of cyber threat actors, TTPs and IOCs . n Understanding of the threat intelligence life cycle. n Excellent written and verbal communication skills. n Experience engaging with stakeholders and contributing to working groups. n Strong organisation and prioritisation skills in a dynamic security environment. n Leadership experience, including developing, coaching and motivating team members. n A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with the evolving cyber threat landscape. n n ?
