Overview
In this role you will advance consistent, robust tax reporting processes and implement AI-enabled solutions across direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing. You will partner with the Finance function to identify automation opportunities, build ROI-driven business cases, and ensure compliance with internal controls. You will bridge tax and finance tech teams, develop training materials, and shape a scalable reporting roadmap within a global CFO group. This hybrid London role offers the chance to influence governance, data quality, and efficiency in tax reporting at Fitch Group.

Responsibilities
- Identify and assess automation opportunities in tax reporting processes
- Explore AI use cases and build a prioritised ROI-driven roadmap
- Implement robust, data-driven solutions aligned to data requirements and architecture
- Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX, IFRS/GAAP) for implemented solutions
- Develop training materials and act as liaison between tax and finance technical teams
Key requirements
- Analytical, structured problem-solving approach
- Advanced Excel with Power Query, Power BI, and VBA/macros
- Experience using AI tools to boost productivity and decision-making; Copilot desirable
- Automation technologies including RPA, workflow tools, and API integrations
- Strong understanding of tax reporting across direct, indirect tax and transfer pricing; related finance processes and controls
- Experience with ERP/finance systems, particularly SAP and Oracle
- Professional accounting or tax qualification, or equivalent experience
