In this Senior HR Advisor role, you will provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliant and consistent practices. You will support managers, lead investigations, and shape ER policy and training. The role collaborates with senior stakeholders to mitigate ER risks and support organisational change. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management)
- Coach managers on sensitive people matters in line with HR policy and employment law
- Lead or assist ER investigations ensuring fairness and timeliness
- Partner with senior managers to identify and mitigate ER risks
- Support organisational change processes including restructures, TUPE, and redundancy consultations
- Monitor ER case trends to inform HR strategy and policy development
- Contribute to ER training for line managers
- Stay up to date with changes in employment law and reflect them in HR practices
- Support HR initiatives and projects impacting employee engagement and workplace culture
Key requirements
- L5 CIPD or working towards
- Experience in Employee Relations/Employment Law
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a shared service HR delivery environment (desirable)
- Experience using a Case Management Tool
