Data Engineer

A leading management consultancy is looking for a Data Enginee

r to join on a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting an important internal data project.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining data processes using SQL Server and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Supporting day-to-day data delivery and operations.
• Implementing data quality checks and maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Working independently on defined tasks and raising risks early.
• Collaborating with senior engineers and business stakeholders.

About You

We’re looking for practical data engineering experience, ideally including:

• SQL / SQL Server
• Python
• VBA
• Data quality and validation
• Data pipelines and documentation

You don’t need experience across everything listed, but strong SQL and Azure experience would be particularly valuable.
