Overview
In this role you will manage multiple pension scheme transitions from negotiation through data cleanse to implementation. You will lead cross‑functional collaboration with trustees, administrators and internal teams to meet timelines and ensure data quality. You will oversee transition governance, escalate issues, and support development of Transition Consultant and Transition Support roles. Responsibilities
- Project manage all transitions from exclusive appointment to completion, ensuring tasks meet client and business expectations
- Obtain, validate and check data during the data cleanse to enable smooth handover to Implementation
- Communicate progress, issues and next steps to trustees and administrators
- Support Senior Business Development Manager with client management and trustee engagements
- Collaborate with DB Operations to handle trustee queries during transition and assist with operational tasks for handover to BAU
- Support Implementation Managers with payroll funding, member calculations and reinsurance reporting
Key requirements
- Experience in DB Pensions or DB De-risking market; knowledge of buy-ins/buy-outs
- Relationship management and/or project management experience; PM qualifications desirable (e.g., Prince2, Agile, APM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; data analysis and clear communication of issues
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills; ability to manage conflicting priorities with stakeholders
- Ability to partner with Scheme Trustees and EBCs to drive transactions to conclusion
