The Position
An exciting opening has arisen for a Fallen Stock Collector Driver – 7.5 Tonne to join our Fallen Stock Department at our F.D Statton & Son/SecAnim site in Cornwall. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established, progressive, and sustainable company that is committed to helping conserve natural resources and protecting the environment. This is a full-time, permanent position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (plus Saturdays/Bank Holidays when required).
The duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:
- Driving 7.5-tonne vehicles/operating vehicle equipment.
- Undertaking vehicle checks/paperwork/housekeeping duties.
- Dispatching (kill) farm animals at customer premises.
- Use electronic PDA.
Requirements
- Hold full UK Driving Licence (LGV C1 essential).
- Driver CPC completed.
- Hold a slaughter Licence/WATOK Licence, although training can be provided.
- Hold firearm certificate (beneficial).
- Agricultural/fallen stock background.
