Overview

You own and drive operational excellence for the EMEA Systems business (Controls Domain), setting standards and capabilities to support growth and market needs. You partner with regional leaders to deliver end-to-end process improvements, revenue and cash optimization, and risk-managed project delivery. You champion standard processes, tools, and change adoption, elevating safety, quality, and customer experience. This role combines strategic roadmapping, performance management, and cross-functional influence to unlock profitability and sustainable execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive operational excellence for the EMEA Systems business (Controls Domain) and develop standards to support business vision and market needs
  • Partner with Sub Region/Country Systems Leaders to implement end-to-end process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Act as business champion and escalation point to maximize adoption of standard processes and tools with change management
  • Lead regional Operations Excellence to improve productivity and customer experience through standardization of tools, reports, and procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end systems delivery processes in short, mid, and long term horizons
  • Manage performance improvement initiatives and process standardization within the Installation function to boost profitability
  • Track KPIs, analyze trends and risks, and implement improvement actions across the region
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture focusing on safety, quality, cost and delivery in installation activities
  • Oversee Installation Excellence Risk and Escalation processes on major projects with stakeholder engagement and mitigation actions
  • Collaborate with departments (Service, L&D, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Pricing) to implement strategic initiatives
  • Monitor risk in contract governance and ensure compliance with corporate procedures
  • Lead Lessons Learned across EMEA Controls and disseminate improvements from data analytics and reviews
  • Support backlog management to optimize value realization and backlog-to-revenue conversion
  • Support and drive self-serve data analytics and process automation
  • Implement and manage Installation Excellence auditing processes (Bid Review, Handover, Backlog reviews, etc.)
  • Identify and drive changes to procedures to improve business alignment and efficiency
  • Own and monitor Systems’ operational and financial metrics
  • Drive backlog conversion to revenue through rigorous project and backlog reviews with country/ops leaders

Key requirements

  • Min 10 years in a leadership/operations management role, preferably in Instrumentation
  • Six Sigma / Lean certified
  • Engineering Degree
  • Strong project management skills
  • Change management experience in dynamic environments
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
