Overview

In this role you will oversee the end-to-end IT asset lifecycle, aligning with ITIL practices and security standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage hardware and software assets, from procurement to retirement, supported by accurate records in multiple systems. You’ll handle deployments, decommissions, licensing, and governance tasks while contributing to IT projects and continuous process improvements. This position offers hands-on operational scope with strategic touchpoints in a global enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end IT asset lifecycle (procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, refresh, retirement)
  • Maintain asset records across systems (Workday, Intune, SCCM) and ensure audit readiness
  • Coordinate provisioning for new hires, movers, and leavers; recover and redeploy assets
  • Support software asset management (licensing, renewals, utilization, vendor compliance)
  • Oversee return/decommissioning with secure data wiping and compliant disposal/recycling
  • Manage inventory and storage to keep stock aligned with business needs
  • Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for repairs, warranties, returns, replacements, and monitor SLAs
  • Assist with software deployments, device configuration, OS rollouts, and IT support collaboration
  • Produce and maintain documentation, reports, and records for efficiency and compliance
  • Support IT projects and technology refresh programs with asset tracking and delivery oversight
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance asset utilization and user experience

Key requirements

  • Experience in IT Asset Management, IT Support, IT Operations, or similar technology environment
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, inventory, and decommissioning
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS and mobile device environments
  • Proficiency in Excel and asset reporting across multiple systems
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and data integrity across systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, process-driven with continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, JAMF) desirable
  • Knowledge of software licensing, compliance, and vendor management advantageous
  • Experience supporting IT projects or hardware rollouts beneficial
