About the Company
Furza are recruiting for an established business that helps large organisations keep critical parts available to their field teams. Its technology-enabled services tackle a time-sensitive problem: when an engineer cannot get the right part, a customer job can stall. With new solutions and markets in development, there is scope to help shape the next stage of UK growth.
About the Role
You will own new business from first conversation to signed contract. You will create your own opportunities, question how prospects operate and turn operational problems into credible proposals. The work spans smaller deals that can close quickly and substantial tenders with longer decision cycles. You will work across several sectors and with colleagues to tailor solutions for each customer.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, your own network, industry events and partner relationships.
- Understand prospects’ service operations, supply chains and systems, then shape tailored solutions and a clear business case for change.
- Lead meetings, presentations, demonstrations, proposals and tenders, keeping momentum through multi-stakeholder decisions.
- Own your sales target, negotiate and close new contracts, and hand customers over effectively after signature.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records and forecasts, and share market insight to improve sector campaigns.
Qualifications
- At least five years’ experience in sales or business development, with clear evidence of new business you personally originated and won.
Required Skills
- Consultative, solution-led selling and the judgement to handle both shorter opportunities and long, complex sales cycles.
- The initiative to create your own pipeline, work independently and bring colleagues into complex proposals.
- Strong commercial, communication and organisational skills, with confidence engaging operational and senior decision makers.
- A full driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in field service or adjacent markets such as logistics, fleet, industrial technology or IT.
- Sales experience in sectors such as manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, telecoms or healthcare.
- Experience using Salesforce and sales-related AI tools.
At Furza, we’re committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. If there’s anything we can do to support you during the process, please let us know, we’d be happy to help.
