Logistics Team Leader – Leeds
£29,000-£30,000 DOE | Private Healthcare | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Trusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation within the healthcare and specialist manufacturing sector for a Logistics Team Leader to join its Leeds operation.
This is a hands-on role where you will oversee a small team of three, taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of logistics while working closely with Production and several other departments across the business.
We’re looking for someone who combines good logistics knowledge with strong people skills – someone organised, proactive and, importantly, a good team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a logistics team of three
- Manage stock, inventory and stock checks
- Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers
- Oversee goods receipt, storage and despatch
- Ensure materials are available to support production
- Monitor Logistics KPIs and operational standards
- Support training, 1-2-1s and team development
- Work closely with other departments across the business
- Maintain high standards of quality and Health & Safety
About You
You will ideally have experience within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing, together with previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience of stock control, purchasing and goods-in/despatch processes is important. Knowledge of SAP Business One would be advantageous but is not essential.
Package & Hours
£29,000-£30,000, negotiable depending on experience
Private healthcare
25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm
