Overview
In this role you will lead drainage schemes for development infrastructure, shaping design and delivery while collaborating with clients and authorities. You will develop drainage strategies, FRA reports, and hydraulic models, and guide junior engineers. The position sits in an established, employee‑owned Bristol firm known for successful project delivery and repeat business. You will work with Causeway Flow and other software to produce designs and drawings, with opportunities for professional growth and a flexible work arrangement.

Responsibilities
- Develop drainage strategies
- Prepare FRA and Drainage Strategy reports
- Perform hydraulic modelling and drainage design using software (Causeway Flow)
- Create technical drawings and specifications
- Prepare fee proposals and monitor deadlines/budgets
- Mentor and support junior team members
Key requirements
- Chartered or near Chartered engineer
- at least 6 years UK experience in drainage design for development infrastructure
