Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end supply planning for items produced in-house and externally, guiding a team of material and supply planners. You will work with cross-functional partners to meet service, inventory, and waste targets while delivering aligned master schedules and long-range plans. The role blends hands-on data use with strategic IBP-driven planning to improve fill rate and efficiency. This is an opportunity to shape supply chain outcomes at a global snack leader and drive savings and better customer fulfilment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare short- and long-term supply plans for items produced internally and externally for review and approvals
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of planners
  • Meet KPIs: customer fill rate, finished goods inventories at or below target, waste reduction
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials and replenishment to achieve category goals
  • Deliver performance against master/detailed schedules and long-range plans, including capacity considerations
  • Support and escalate issues in supply review and contribute to supply review meetings
  • Drive improvements in planning to improve fill rate, inventory targets and waste reduction to meet KPIs
  • Participate in and/or lead supply review meetings

Key requirements

  • Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience with strong business acumen, ideally in FMCG/CPG
  • Willingness to learn new ways of working and to be hands-on with data and systems
  • Experience in driving supply review and participating in an IBP cycle
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and focus on key priorities to improve the plan
  • Ability to build effective teams
  • Knowledge of leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chain concepts
