Overview

As D2C Commercial Operations Manager, you drive the commercial performance of our Direct-to-Consumer channels, shaping plans across trading, pricing, promotions, forecasting and stock fulfilment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate plans into strong execution and measurable growth in sales and profitability. You’ll use data and market insight to optimize the portfolio and maintain a differentiated, consumer-friendly D2C experience. This role offers scope to influence the full D2C journey, from assortment and promotions to availability and fulfilment, within a fast-moving, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the D2C commercial plan to meet sales, margin and consumer objectives
  • Own pricing, promotions, discounts, and trading strategies across core, seasonal, exclusive and service-based ranges
  • Monitor key KPIs such as volume, sales and discount performance
  • Contribute to UK D2C strategic planning, manage budgets and support volume and A&P planning
  • Utilize market insight and performance data to identify opportunities and inform decisions
  • Lead portfolio management to keep core, seasonal, exclusive and service propositions differentiated and profitable
  • Coordinate new product launches including forecasting, setup, content and readiness
  • Oversee forecasting, inventory and fulfilment in collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations
  • Manage stock levels, assess risks, and minimise waste while balancing rate of sale and profitability
  • Establish cross-functional performance reporting and trading readiness, including contingency planning

Key requirements

  • Commercial experience in D2C/eCommerce/retail/FMCG or related environment
  • Strong understanding of D2C strategies across pricing, promotions and product
  • Experience in category or portfolio management, commercial planning and forecasting
  • Experience managing stock, inventory or fulfilment with Supply Chain/Operations
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills to translate data into actions
  • Stakeholder management across commercial, marketing, supply chain and operations
