Data & AI Architect

Overview

As a senior Solution Architect in Avanade’s Data & AI Practice, you lead the technical design and delivery of large-scale analytics and AI solutions for enterprise clients. You shape deals, roadmaps, and high-level architecture while mentoring delivery teams and guiding client engagements. You translate complex concepts into business outcomes, acting as a trusted advisor to executives and sales teams. You drive innovation, best practices, and scalable AI/data platform solutions that deliver measurable value at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and drive architectural decisions across client projects
• Shape deals, propositions, and roadmaps; contribute to client proposals and design artifacts
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior colleagues within the team
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-focused communications for senior stakeholders
• Support origination and deal qualification through early client conversations and partnership with sales
• Collaborate with Data & AI leadership to shape offerings, accelerators, and background IP
• Advance AI development practices (data management, model training, deployment) and stay updated on AI/data innovations
• Represent solutions in deal reviews and participate in client presentations and negotiations

Key requirements
