Overview

In this role you will oversee strategic vendor relationships to ensure service quality and risk management across global data center operations. You will collaborate with engineering stakeholders to align contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics with business priorities. You drive governance, reporting, and data-driven improvements to enhance resilience and transparency. This is an opportunity to blend vendor management with analytical analysis to support operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance reviews, governance forums, and escalations to resolve service issues while maintaining stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Develop and improve vendor management processes, scorecards, and reporting frameworks for transparency and accountability
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align vendor performance with business priorities and risk
  • Review Vendor Service Support contracts with Engineering Stakeholders and help define SLAs
  • Analyze vendor performance data and produce reports and insights on service delivery and trends

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience managing remote vendors across multiple geographic regions and time zones
  • Strong understanding of Data Centre operations and infrastructure environments
  • 5+ years in Data Center Operations and Vendor Relationship Management
  • Proficient in Data Analytics and visualization tools to support decision-making
  • Familiarity with scripting/programming for operational analysis or automation
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira (issue tracking, workflow management, reporting)
