Mobile BMS Service Engineer

Overview

In this Mobile BMS Engineer role, you will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of buildings, supporting energy-efficient BMS operations. You’ll work with cross-site teams to keep commercial and public sector facilities running smoothly and to identify system improvements. Your work drives performance and energy efficiency while contributing to Equans’ Smart Enabled future. The role combines hands-on maintenance with reporting, cost estimation, and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on BMS systems across multiple sites
• Respond to reactive break/fix calls and participate in on-call rota
• Collaborate with colleagues to propose improvements for system performance and energy efficiency
• Prepare clear reports and cost estimates for system enhancements
• Manage a mobile service footprint across schools, hospitals, offices, business parks and government buildings

Key requirements

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
• Knowledge of at least one BMS platform: Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens, Niagara
• HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge in commercial settings
• Full UK Driving License
• BPSS vetting (minimum)
