Salary: £36,000 – 67,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Required to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance
  • Must have lived in the UK for 10 or more years to obtain clearance
  • Skills and experience in infrastructure architecture/design, data centre infrastructure, IT infrastructure, CI/CD, automation and orchestration, and programming/scripting
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware Cloud Foundation
  • Deep knowledge of VMware and enterprise virtualisation environments
  • Strong grounding in compute, storage, and networking fundamentals
  • Proven ability in automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Desirable experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker; networking, security, and identity management; Linux or Windows system administration; and encryption and certificate management (PKI, TLS/SSL)

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver next-generation private cloud platforms using VMware Cloud Foundation
  • Drive automation-first infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell
  • Solve complex platform challenges across compute, storage, and networking
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end services
  • Enhance platform security, resilience, and performance at scale
  • Support the stability and availability of critical services and enable customer workloads to be onboarded seamlessly
