Site Manager

Overview

Inverness-based Site Manager role with an award-winning housebuilder. You will oversee day-to-day development operations, ensuring on-time delivery, safety, and high build quality. You’ll coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, monitor costs and programmes, and maintain NHBC standards while delivering an excellent customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership position that shapes the quality and timeliness of residential homes within a collaborative team. A strong safety culture and quality focus will be central to your impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
• Ensure works align with programmes and specifications
• Maintain health and safety standards across site
• Monitor build quality and NHBC compliance
• Manage costs, resources, and deadlines
• Conduct regular inspections and address defects
• Deliver excellent customer experience throughout build process

Key requirements

• Proven Site Manager experience in residential housebuilding
• Strong knowledge of traditional build methods and construction processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Track record of delivering high-quality residential developments safely and efficiently
• SMSTS, First Aid and relevant health and safety qualifications
• Keen eye for detail and passion for quality
