7.5t Driver

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is recruiting for a 7.5T Delivery Driver to join an established client based in Livingston.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering ongoing work with the potential to move onto a permanent contract following a successful probationary period.

You’ll be responsible for delivering ambient, chilled and frozen goods to customers throughout the Central Belt, with occasional longer-distance runs to Aberdeen and Newcastle.

The role will involve:

• Multi-drop deliveries across the Central Belt
• Occasional deliveries further afield, including Aberdeen and Newcastle
• Loading your vehicle at the start of each shift
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Typical working days of 8–10 hours, depending on workload

Start times are generally between 5:00am and 6:00am.

Driver Requirements

• Valid Category C1 licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and motivated approach to work
• Maximum 6 penalty points, minor offences only
• No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
