Banking & Finance Associate, NQ-3 PQE, £63,000-£70,000, National Law Firm, Leedsnnn A national law firm is looking for a banking and finance associate to join its Leeds office. The team works as one national practice, so you'll be working on the same deals and with the same colleagues as the rest of the group, not a smaller local caseload.nnn The client base covers both lenders and borrowers. You'll act for banks, alternative lenders and funds, as well as the companies and institutions borrowing from them, which is useful experience early in a career.nnn The work is broad. As well as corporate banking and real estate finance, the team does acquisition, leveraged and asset-based lending, government finance and debt capital markets, and the finance side of private equity, M&A and property deals. Much of it is high-value, with a mix of domestic and international matters, and you'll be dealing with clients directly from the start.nnn Associates are also encouraged to get involved in business development and build their own contacts in Leeds, not just support a partner's.nnn This would suit someone at a recognised firm who wants a wider spread of finance work before settling on a specialism.nnn Interested?
