Overview
In this role you will lead structural design projects for a Bristol-based engineering consultancy, collaborating with contractors and cross-functional teams to deliver practical solutions. You will own project delivery, quote and invoicing processes, and contribute to strategic design decisions. The position supports chartership progress and emphasizes high standards in Eurocodes and British Standards. You will work both independently and with others, managing multiple deadlines and driving innovative design while benefiting from career growth and hybrid working.

Responsibilities
- Own structural design delivery across residential and commercial schemes
- Prepare project quotes and invoices or develop commercial capability
- Lead design strategies and coordinate with external teams including contractors
- Manage multiple deadlines and ensure timely delivery
- Develop innovative and practical design solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to support project outcomes
Key requirements
- Degree in civil or structural engineering
- Working towards Chartership
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes/British Standards
- Proficiency in Tedds, Robot, AutoCAD and Revit
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with residential and commercial schemes up to £7m
