Overview
In this role you will establish and lead the SZC FEO organisation, defining teams, processes and interfaces to keep construction on track. You will set up configuration and document control, and implement a site-wide organisational framework to prevent design issues from delaying delivery. Working with cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll build a scalable operation that supports the Sizewell C project and contributes to the UK’s transition to An Electric Britain. The role combines people leadership, process design, and governance in a high-stakes nuclear program.

Responsibilities
- Lead the set-up and implementation of the FEO organisation, including strategy, schedule, processes and procedures
- Build and coordinate a team covering configuration control and document control, with potential to add disciplines
- Establish site configuration management processes ensuring traceability between design, changes and construction
- Set up and manage the SZC As Built Control Tower, leveraging lessons from Hinkley Point C
- Coordinate engineering, site, design and project stakeholders to implement effective processes preventing construction delays from engineering issues
Key requirements
- At least five years’ experience in the nuclear industry with knowledge of UK EPR technology
- Experience in configuration management, design coordination or site engineering
- Experience establishing engineering organisations, processes or procedures to support delivery
- Experience creating and implementing processes and procedures for engineering and construction delivery
- Experience coordinating stakeholders and interfaces across engineering, site and project teams
