Overview

In this Motor Underwriter role, you support the Underwriters and the Underwriting Director by handling referrals, coordinating internal and external inquiries, and routing matters to insurers when needed. You maintain accurate administration and filing for insurer and product files. You handle in-house referrals from the sales team and help generate scheme performance data using company systems. You implement processes and manage competing priorities, delivering high-quality information under tight deadlines. You bring strong attention to detail and a performance-oriented mindset to underwriting operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle email referrals and manage internal/external inquiries, routing to insurers when required
• Maintain administration and filing for insurer and product files
• Process in-house referrals from the sales team
• Assist in generating scheme performance data using company systems
• Understand and implement processes and procedures; manage priorities effectively
• Produce high-quality information within tight deadlines
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail
