Job Description:

Overview

As an AI Product Manager at Zopa, you will own end-to-end customer problems on our AI Banking platform and shape the experience end-to-end. You’ll work between product and engineering to prototype, build and ship AI-powered customer experiences. You’ll design evals, balance cost and latency, and learn from real interactions to drive impactful improvements in a heavily regulated environment. This role combines hands-on creation with strategic product thinking in a fast, autonomous team.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer problems end-to-end: identify opportunity, decide what should exist, build, ship and learn
  • Prototype ideas directly rather than drafting external documents
  • Create full customer experiences on the agentic platform via prompts, tools, and configuration
  • Design evals to define success and guide releases
  • Contribute code: raise PRs and collaborate with engineers on deeper work
  • Shape production performance: manage context, cost per conversation, latency, model choice and routing
  • Review real conversations and turn insights into improvements quickly
  • Lead analysis and research: interrogate data, transcripts, and derive decisions
  • Assess risk and compliance considerations with Risk and Compliance partners

Key requirements

  • Builder mindset with demonstrated shipped AI-powered customer experiences
  • Strong product taste: knowing what to ship vs. not
  • Ability to derive customer insights and translate into intuitive solutions
  • Experience using coding agents and understanding their value and limitations
  • Experience designing evals and identifying issues traditional tests miss
  • Understanding of LLM systems in practice: context management, prompting, and trade-offs between cost and latency
  • Systems thinking approach to recurring problems
