Overview

In this role you own the end-to-end traveler experience for third-party inventory, driving the vision, roadmap, and standards across discovery, booking, payments, and post-booking service. You will align cross-functional partners from Product, Engineering, Supply, Partnerships, and Leadership to deliver trustworthy, seamless experiences that boost traveler trust and lifetime value. You’ll lead data-informed decisions, experimentation, and AI-enabled improvements to differentiate Expedia’s marketplace. This is a high-impact role shaping a core growth and transformation area for travelers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define long-term experience vision, principles, and roadmap for third-party inventory
  • Set experience standards to promote trust, quality, and customer lifetime value
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data Science, Analytics, Partnerships, Operations, etc.) and senior leadership
  • Translate complex needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics
  • Drive decision-making with data, narratives, and artifacts in cross-functional spaces
  • Prioritize opportunities using experimentation, analytics, and A/B testing across platforms
  • Identify risks, align stakeholders, and enable critical decisions
  • Incorporate AI-driven systems to create measurable value with safe adoption
  • Apply competitive insights to shape differentiated strategies and traveler outcomes

Key requirements

  • 10+ years in digital product management with consumer-facing or e-commerce experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps with KPIs and experimentation
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Analytics on complex products including APIs and data flows
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applying them to products in measurable, safe ways
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-organizational priorities
  • Experience owning marketplaces or platform products from strategy to execution
  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills
  • Ability to operate without direct authority in global, matrixed environments
