Governance Lawyer: Public Law & Deputy MO Path | Hybrid

WE Talent is seeking an experienced Governance Lawyer for a local authority to advise on governance, constitutional and public law matters and to support Members, senior officers and the Monitoring Officer. The role may involve deputising as Deputy Monitoring Officer and delivering governance training.

You’ll join a collaborative Legal and Governance team and handle a varied caseload with strong drafting and stakeholder engagement skills. Hybrid working is available.
