Senior Quality Engineer

Overview

As Quality Manager for Enerpac UK, you will lead the strategic development and ongoing management of the QMS to meet ISO 9001 standards across site, regional, and global levels. You will drive continuous improvement, align quality objectives with business goals, and act as the escalation point for customer quality issues. This role combines governance, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen quality maturity. You will work closely with stakeholders to promote safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, delivering measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve the QMS and related documentation
• Set strategic quality objectives and lead site improvement projects to boost KPIs
• Ensure ISO 9001 requirements are communicated and applied across the organisation
• Lead regional management reviews to drive QMS improvements
• Manage supplier, internal, and customer quality issues in Qualityze
• Oversee timely closure of product non-conformances and CAPAs
• Report progress on non-conformance resolutions to stakeholders
• Act as escalation point for customer quality issues
• Serve as Qualityze administrator and drive system enhancements
• Promote safety and continuous improvement, driving efficiency and compliance
• Represent the company professionally and model health and safety excellence
• Influence, develop and train employees to foster a quality culture
• Coordinate cross-functional activities in a global, multicultural environment
• Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Key requirements

• 5+ years implementing quality systems
• Extensive ISO 9001 experience including Lead Auditor or willingness to obtain Lead Auditor
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification or readiness to pursue Lead Auditor
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proven facilitation, training, and presentation abilities
• Proficient in report writing and MS Office
• Collaborative, organized, and able to work under pressure
