Class 1 ADR Driver – Waste Management

Location: Normanton (WF6 1TW)

Pay: £16.50 per hour

Monday to Friday

Day shift: 4:00am starts – 10-hour shifts

Night shift: 4:00pm starts – 10-hour shifts

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to join a busy and professional waste management operation based in Normanton.

This is a great opportunity for a Class 1 driver looking for Monday-Friday work, with the role being predominantly driving and involving deliveries/collections from hospitals, care homes and other healthcare establishments.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle as part of a professional waste management operation
• Predominantly driving, with some loading/unloading duties
• Visiting hospitals, care homes and other healthcare sites
• Ensuring waste is transported safely and in accordance with relevant procedures
• Completing vehicle and delivery/collection paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site staff
• Following all ADR, health & safety and company procedures
• Working Monday to Friday on either the day or night shift

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid ADR qualification
• Relevant Class 1 driving experience
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and visiting different sites
• Strong commitment to health & safety
• Good attention to detail when completing paperwork
