Overview

In this Senior Vice President role, you will own the strategic and operational performance of Citi’s Complex Assets franchise, spanning OTC derivatives post-trade services, Middle Office, and Fund Accounting. You will shape the operating model, drive transformation, and supervise a global, multi-function team while engaging at board and executive levels. You’ll lead initiatives across technology, governance, and client strategy to sustain growth in a regulated, competitive market. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on strategic influence and cross‑functional execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion multi-year strategic vision for the Complex Assets franchise
  • Manage executive relationships and represent the business in governance forums
  • Lead a large, global organization and develop future leaders
  • Own client relationships from acquisition through lifecycle management
  • Set technology vision and fund a multi-year digital transformation agenda
  • Collaborate across Citi to ensure alignment with the broader franchise

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in OTC derivatives and/or securities services at senior leadership level (VP or above)
  • Proven track record in managing a complex, global, and regulated financial services business
  • Deep expertise in OTC Derivatives across major asset classes (rates, credit, FX, equity, commodities)
  • Proven ability to sponsor and deliver large-scale transformation programmes including tech-led change and operating model redesign
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and business case development at enterprise level
  • Outstanding executive communication and negotiation skills with credibility at Board level
  • Active industry presence in trade bodies or regulatory groups
