Overview

In this role you drive the vision, roadmap, and market success for VMware-based private and hybrid cloud offerings. You bridge customers, engineering, sales, and delivery to shape platform services built on VMware technologies, Kubernetes, and modern infrastructure. You enable enterprise modernization and faster app delivery through virtualization and Kubernetes. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner with VMware by Broadcom and cloud providers to align initiatives. This is a global, hybrid role with meaningful impact across markets.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for VMware platform services across virtualization, Kubernetes, automation, networking, and hybrid cloud offerings
• Engage with enterprise customers to capture business and technical needs and monitor competitive trends
• Create product positioning, value propositions, pricing, and GTM plans to drive adoption and growth
• Lead cross-functional efforts with engineering, architecture, sales, and services and coordinate with VMware by Broadcom and cloud providers
• Drive platform enablement including IaC, DevOps practices, self-service capabilities, and development of technical messaging and sales materials
• Define and track KPIs, customer adoption metrics, and product performance indicators

Key requirements

• Proven experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Product Marketing in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud tech
• Strong understanding of VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager, AVI Load Balancer) and software-defined networking
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS), and modern application platforms
• Experience with hybrid clouds (VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution, Google Cloud VMware Engine)
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), DevOps, CI/CD, and GitOps workflows
• Ability to translate complex tech into clear business value with strong communication and stakeholder management
