Overview
In this role you will shape the Connectors product portfolio to support growth. You will work with engineering, sales and purchasing to align strategy, pricing and lifecycle management. You will monitor market trends and identify gaps or new opportunities to expand and optimise the range. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position in a small business environment with hybrid office work in Surrey.

Responsibilities
- Perform market and competitor analysis in the connectors/electromechanical sector
- Review and optimise the full product portfolio, identifying gaps and opportunities
- Drive product strategy including pricing, positioning and lifecycle management
- Identify areas for expansion, improvement or rationalisation of products
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing and sales to align product direction
- Provide strategic oversight of the product range to support business growth
- Monitor emerging market trends (e.g., fibre optics, AI, medical, transport)
- Support occasional engagement with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders
Key requirements
- Proven experience in the electronic components industry, ideally connectors or electromechanical products
- Strong understanding of the connectors market and key competitors
- Experience in product management, product strategy or market analysis
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate with engineering teams
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional collaboration
