Overview

In this role you will drive sales growth and strengthen key customer relationships across the UK for BorgWarner’s aftermarket products. You will develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with the company’s market expansion goals. You will engage with customers, identify new business opportunities, and lead negotiations to secure favorable terms. You’ll collaborate with marketing, technical support, and logistics to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and accurate forecasting. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role that shapes growth in the UK aftermarket landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement UK sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts with a focus on opportunities
  • Identify and win new customers to expand market presence in the UK aftermarket
  • Conduct market research on trends, competition, and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients
  • Negotiate contracts and favorable terms for BorgWarner
  • Monitor and report sales performance against targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical support, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Represent BorgWarner at industry events and conferences
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budgeting
  • Maintain customer records and sales activity in the CRM system

Key requirements

  • Proven sales track record, preferably in automotive aftermarket
  • Experience managing key accounts and developing new business
  • Strong understanding of the UK automotive aftermarket landscape
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the UK
