Senior Consultant, E-Invoicing, Indirect Tax, London

Overview

In this Senior Consultant role within EY Tax, you will contribute to eInvoicing and digital reporting projects for multinational clients as part of a fast-growing UKI practice. You will gather requirements, design solutions, and support testing and deployment of tax technology transformations. You will collaborate across tax, finance and IT teams and help shape knowledge assets and accelerators. This role offers exposure to a global EY network and meaningful client work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of eInvoicing and tax technology transformation projects
• Assist with business process analysis and requirements workshops
• Document business/technical requirements and process flows
• Support implementation, testing and deployment of eInvoicing, eReporting and tax compliance solutions
• Perform configuration, validation and data analysis under guidance
• Support UAT, defect management, deployment and hypercare
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impacts on client processes
• Prepare project status reports and client deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, finance, IT and external providers
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and development of team assets and accelerators

Key requirements

• Understanding of eInvoicing, CT C (Continuous Transaction Controls) and digital reporting concepts
• Experience with ERP, tax technology, finance transformation or compliance projects
• Experience with requirements gathering, process documentation, testing and deployment
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP DRC, Vertex, Pagero, EDICOM, PEPPOL or similar technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
