Overview

In this role you lead technical design for healthcare projects in a London-based team, driving constructability, compliance and architectural quality. You manage complex packages from concept through construction, coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders, and contribute to proposals and business development. The role blends hands-on delivery with mentoring and resource management, under a hybrid work setup. You’ll apply advanced BIM and digital design to deliver coordinated, high-quality outcomes and advance toward Associate level based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare projects from concept through construction stage deliverables with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and clients to maintain clear, cross-disciplinary communication
  • Produce conceptual sketches, design presentations and detailed technical documentation
  • Manage project resources and report workload and status
  • Mentor and develop junior staff to support project delivery
  • Apply advanced technical design knowledge considering constructability, compliance and cost
  • Support client engagement, submissions, tenders and business development activities
  • Own and drive technical project delivery while ensuring quality, compliance and schedule
  • Maintain and promote technical standards across active commissions
  • Oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement in project delivery

Key requirements

  • 6–8 years of post-qualification experience in Architectural Technology or equivalent
  • CIAT or equivalent professional registration
  • Advanced technical design and detailing across complex packages
  • Expert Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite competence
  • Strong BIM processes and multidisciplinary information coordination knowledge
  • Knowledge of Building Planning Regulations and their applications
  • Proven client engagement, presentation and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Strong organization, time management and resource management under demanding schedules
