As an Account Manager at Burson, you drive corporate communications campaigns for iconic brands and manage day-to-day client relationships within the Corporate and Public Affairs team. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, conducting status meetings and ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to strategic campaign planning and build media contact networks
  • Draft and refine high-quality content (press releases, op-eds, briefing notes, social content) for diverse platforms
  • Manage day-to-day account workflows across multiple projects ensuring quality and deadlines
  • Guide and delegate to junior colleagues, fostering collaboration with senior team members
  • Collaborate with data/insight specialists and strategists to integrate data-driven insights in campaigns
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and assist with pitches and proposals
  • Track budgets, vendor invoices, and project timelines to ensure on-budget delivery

Key requirements

  • Agency experience in corporate communications or corporate affairs (typically 3–4+ years)
  • Proven track record in account handling and executing corporate communications campaigns
  • Media relations experience with high-tier coverage and reputation management
  • Strong writing and editing skills for complex topics across audiences
  • Emerging leadership skills with experience mentoring juniors
  • Strong presentation and client-facing communication abilities
  • Financial literacy including project trackers, POs, and budget monitoring
  • Analytical mindset with experience using media analytics, monitoring tools, and reporting
