Overview
As Senior Technical Account Manager for Wise Platform, you oversee technical partnerships post-launch for Tier 1 clients, ensuring long-term health and value. You work with partner tech teams and Wise engineers, driving integration health, incident resolution, and adoption of updates. You’ll shape scalable TAM processes, feed feedback into product roadmaps, and advocate for partners. This role combines technical depth with strategic account leadership in a fast-moving, payments-focused platform.

Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship for key Wise Platform partners post-launch, serving as the technical lead on the account team
- Develop deep knowledge of each partner’s integration, architecture, and roadmap to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Investigate and resolve complex technical blockers across APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows and existing integrations
- Collaborate with Integration Support and Engineering during incidents and drive follow-through, preventative actions and improvements
- Support partners in adopting latest updates to Wise’s technical integration via change management
- Maintain ongoing technical health of accounts, including SLA adherence and best-practice enforcement
- Advocate for partners internally by surfacing feedback and influencing product roadmaps
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, CSMs and Account Managers to drive improvements and resolve issues
- Promote adoption of new technical specs and identify new features/use cases with partners
- Contribute to documentation, tooling and scalable processes to improve partner experience
- Help shape and scale how Technical Account Management operates, creating repeatable processes and best practices
Key requirements
- 8+ years in technical account management, solutions engineering, technical customer success, post-sales engineering, or similar role with enterprise experience
- Experience owning the technical health of complex enterprise customers post-implementation
- Proficiency with APIs, webhooks, authentication, databases and modern integration standards
- Hands-on troubleshooting of API-based integrations using logs, monitoring tools, and documentation to resolve issues
- Experience guiding customers through technical changes (API migrations, platform updates, deprecations, new features)
- Ability to build credibility with senior technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional decisions
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive approach to account health, identifying risks and improvement opportunities before escalation
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to prioritize across high-value accounts
- Data-driven decision making and a strong sense of ownership in fast-moving environments
