Stock Controller – Luxury Retail
Location: Cheshire Oaks
Salary: £14.84 per hour
Start Date: Monday 5th October
Contract: Initially 2 weeks with the potential for extension
Working Hours: Shifts scheduled between 9:00am and 9:15pm
We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a luxury retail environment in Cheshire Oaks. This is a back-of-house position suited to someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, supporting store operations, and maintaining high standards within the stockroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and processing deliveries.
- Organising and maintaining the stockroom to luxury retail standards.
- Accurately recording stock movements and inventory updates.
- Conducting regular stock counts and assisting with stock audits.
- Preparing stock for the shop floor and supporting replenishment activities.
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Ensuring all stock is stored safely and efficiently.
- Working independently to manage daily stockroom operations.
- Supporting the wider store team during busy trading periods when required.
Requirements
- Previous stock control, stockroom, warehouse, or retail back-of-house experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload.
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work.
- Experience using stock management systems is advantageous but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a prestigious luxury retail environment, with the potential for the assignment to be extended beyond the initial contract period.
