Overview
As Future Talent Manager – Industry in Glasgow, you will lead the coordination and continuous improvement of Industry apprenticeship programmes. You’ll coach managers, align programmes with business needs, and drive a strong talent pipeline with colleges and education partners. Your work accelerates apprentice development, supports wellbeing, and ensures graduates progress into meaningful roles. This role merges people development with strategic planning to deliver skilled Industry professionals for Thales UK.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and continuously improve Industry apprenticeship programmes
- Coach and support line and placement managers to develop apprentices
- Identify future capability requirements with Industry leaders and HR
- Partner with Future Talent to manage attraction, assessment, onboarding, and induction
- Maintain relationships with colleges and training providers and align learning with work experience
- Monitor apprentice progress, address skills gaps, and provide timely support
- Provide guidance on apprenticeship concerns and wellbeing to apprentices and managers
- Coordinate apprentice pay reviews and support progression planning
- Maintain relationships with former apprentices and graduates for future recruitment
- Provide pastoral care to graduate programmes across OME UK
Key requirements
