Pricing Manager (Retirement Income)

Overview

In this role, you will lead pricing for retirement income products and support Just Group’s retirement income strategy. You’ll analyse competitor pricing, propose changes, and implement pricing in admin platforms, working with cross-functional stakeholders to maximise commercial opportunities. You’ll provide pricing insights, support product development, and maintain a strong understanding of the retirement income market. This is a growth-focused position within a collaborative, customer-centric team driving price-led value.

Responsibilities

• Propose pricing changes for retirement income products to stay competitive and aligned with business targets
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of pricing strategy
• Implement pricing changes in Just’s administration platforms and communicate to stakeholders
• Produce pricing management information for internal and external reporting and evolve it as needed
• Contribute to the development of the Just Retail business plan
• Support development and enhancements to income products via pricing and market analysis
• Support change initiatives using technology to improve models, tools, and processes
• Act as the lead for all retirement income pricing queries
• Provide analytical support to the Income product team
• Maintain thorough understanding of the retirement income sector, market environment, and competitive positioning of products

Key requirements

• Experience within the UK retirement industry with knowledge of retirement income products, their mechanics, and profitability focus
• Experience in product pricing and understanding the commerciality of annuity products
• Actuarial models and interpreting results experience
• Proven experience in the retail retirement income market
• Strong understanding of P&L management and ability to act on metric changes
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines
• Highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills for presenting complex concepts clearly
• Ability to negotiate/influence stakeholders across all levels
