As an Outsourcing Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of high-quality outsourcing and accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will oversee a team, ensuring efficient and effective servicedelivery, and support senior management in achieving departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships,ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountingprofessionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financialstatements, management accounts, and other financial reports for clients.
  • Manage the delivery of outsourced accountingfunctions including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, and managementaccounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accountingstandards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improveinternal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting standards,regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professionalqualification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similarrole within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 andexperience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Prior experience of managing or mentoring morejunior members of staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and teammembers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillswith a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities anddeliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstandingclient service.
  • Salary of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum.
