Overview

As a White Goods engineer, you will service and repair a range of home appliances at customers’ homes, supporting a fast, first-time-fix Service Promise. You join a team of experienced engineers in a mission to make energy greener and more efficient. You’ll tackle varied technical challenges, collaborating with mentors and managers to ensure reliable, high-quality outcomes. This role offers meaningful impact through hands-on repair work and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Attend customer homes to repair and maintain white goods (dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, microwaves)
  • Diagnose defects and plan safe, effective fixes
  • Strive for first-time fixes with quality workmanship
  • Collaborate with managers and peers for support and continuous improvement
  • Adhere to safety standards and quality practices
  • Contribute to the Service Promise of same-day fixes
  • Engage with customers to explain repairs and maintain service quality

Key requirements

  • Extensive repair/maintenance experience with dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, microwaves
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to diagnose defects and work safely to achieve first-time fixes
  • Minimum 2 years on-the-job experience
  • Full-time availability in assigned locations (Peterborough, Epsom, Croydon, London)
