Overview

As a Project Manager for the EMEA portfolio, you drive delivery of infrastructure, laboratory, workplace, and technical facilities projects for a technology industry client. You’ll partner with operations, facilities, engineering, IT, and vendors across multiple countries to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. You’ll navigate diverse regulatory environments and coordinate cross‑border teams, shaping critical environments in a global context. This role offers hands-on project leadership with significant regional impact and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations across the EMEA portfolio
  • Lead capital, infrastructure, laboratory, workplace, and facilities projects from initiation to close-out
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and regional teams to align on scope, budget, and timelines
  • Prepare budgets, schedules, forecasts, and governance documentation; secure approvals
  • Oversee design reviews, reporting, and stakeholder communications throughout all project phases
  • Assist in selecting and managing consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor costs, changes, and financial forecasts ensuring alignment with budgets
  • Conduct site visits, risk reviews, and milestone validation; report progress to leadership
  • Apply standard PM methodologies, risk management, and continuous improvement practices
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and building codes
  • Lead meetings, track actions, and manage contracts, documentation, and close-out processes
  • Support project prioritisation and governance across the EMEA region
  • Maintain strong relationships with site leadership, facilities teams, and external partners
  • Escalate significant issues and obtain approvals for scope changes and expenditures

Key requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline preferred
  • 5–8 years project management experience in technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, laboratory, data centre, mission-critical, or corporate real estate environments
  • 5+ years experience in engineering, construction, facilities, or project delivery
  • Experience delivering projects across multiple sites, countries, or jurisdictions is highly desirable
  • Experience in diverse cultural, regulatory, and business environments within EMEA preferred
  • Experience with laboratory, technical infrastructure, workplace fit-out, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, permitting requirements, and project delivery methodologies
  • Experience managing technical infrastructure projects involving MEP systems preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting, procurement, contracts, and change management experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software; familiarity with AI-enabled tools preferred
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel 25–40% across EMEA; based in Dublin with flexibility to cover the region
